Sunday was the first anniversary of Charlie's homecoming. Yay. :)

I'm so glad The Hurt Locker won and that Katherine Bigelow won. Thrilled for Mo'Nique too.

But I really question some of the choices made by the people who put the show together. There were some good bits, but the show really never came together. I did really like the reactions to nomination by the animated characters. Honestly, the bits with George Clooney were the best, and he was in the audience. No, wait. I tell a lie. The opening with Neil Patrick Harris was the best. Maybe they can get him to host next year...

Also? Someone needs to send them the definition of Horror Movie. Neither the musical version of Little Shop of Horrors nor Edward Scissorhands is included in said definition! Not to mention Young Frankenstein...

Google Books has every issue of Popular Science online from July, 1925 through March 2009. I assume they'll add the current issues as they become less current. *grin*

Jeff's been wanting a PS3 for ages and ages now. He finally bought one last week. I found a huge bargain on the deluxe Beatles Rock Band (the one with Paul's bass), and that got here today. I'm really looking forward to us all playing together.

The PS3 is daaaaaaaaaangerous though. 'Cause we connected it with our Netflix account and can watch streaming movies. That works pretty well on my computer, but I thought it might suck or be pixilated or something via PS3 on the tv. Nope, it works beautifully. And they've got *so* many things I love available (not all the things they have to rent are available to stream), including the first season of The Duchess of Duke Street. I may never get anything done again. ;)
