'Nother quick update.
Knee's doing better (Well, they were both battered (one day, they'll simply fall off. That'll suck) but the left took the brunt of the damage. My right calf was giving me lots of hell yesterday but isn't very bad at all today) and I'm going through the pictures. I plan to post them tomorrow, though probably in the afternoon/night. Though, I do the majority of things then, so I don't know why I fell compelled to mention that.
I'm still bummed about not being able to march (and about not meeting up with the Mamas For Choice. *Sigh* But hey, I got closer to contact with people I actually know than I have in a while. Progress, you know. *Grin*) but am amazed to have been part of it. When I was there, it was like a really great concert...the kind with call and response and everyone knowing *all* the songs. The crowd and the artists become one being for a while. It was freeing and almost physically hurt when I had to go back to the real world. The real world kind of sucks. But I guess they wouldn't let us all live on the mall. Dammit.
We got marvelous sheets today...they're made from the bark of beech trees...well, it's a blend of that and cotton. (It has a name, but I can't remember it right now...I'll mention it tomorrow.) They feel so good...I'd totally be willing to make a fort of them and live there forever.;) I think I'll go lay down on them right now. :)
Love all y'all.
