More stuff you may or may not know about me.
(I found part of this in an oldish notepad file...I don't think I've posted it before, but if I have...the stuff's still true. :)

1. Jeff's days off have varied so much over the past couple years that I'm
often not quite sure which day it is and have to check before I can do anything else.

2. I adore Vincent Donofrio and will watch damn near anything he's in.

3. I love conversation moves...films that are mostly people talking. They're
pretty much my favorite kind. Unless the people are talking about boring stuff
and then they're like a rusty cheese grater against my forehead.

4. I absolutely love my camera. Digital gives me the freedom to take forty
pictures of something, keep the ones I like, delete the rest and not waste a
thing except time. (And battery power.)

5. I plan to move up to the five megapixel version of my camera (Nikon
Coolpix) in the next year, because I like everything my camera can do, and if
I'm going to spend the money, I might as well go all the way up rather than
stopping at three.

6. I think Blue's Clues was far better before the clues drew themselves. But
Sammy *adores* Blue's Room, so we watch the new episodes for that. I have
a feeling that they're going to transition the half hour to just Blue's Room in
the coming months/year. But I'm often wrong.

7. Danny Elfman constantly amazes me, and I love the way he dances.

8. I really like Fannie Flagg and the books she writes.

Blackmask has de-pdf'd
the 9/11 report. You can download it in various
formats or read it there (by clicking on the title above the blurb).

I currently have Garnier Nutrisse dye on my head. I'd tell you the name, but I
can't remember and this shade of red doesn't seem to exist online. Which is
odd, 'cause that's how I acquired the box of dye. I filled out a form and they
sent me a free one as part of the new color line promotion.

Anyway, I was looking in the mirror, putting the goop on the front of my
head when I realized I wasn't actually *looking* in the mirror and might as
well close the toilet and sit there to do it. Which went well. Then I got up
again to do the back. Not that we have mirrors facing one another so I could see
what I was doing or anything. I just felt more comfortable watching myself
while I pulled big bits of hair around to the front and squirted them (then
worked the goop in).

I am very odd.

You're all shocked now. *Grin*

I was disappointment woman yesterday. I bought Jeff two pair of non-jeans
(one pair of cargo pants and one "plain" black), a pair of shorts and some
underwear, and they arrived yesterday. I was all happy (he knew, 'cause I'm
bad at keeping stuff like that a secret) and then he tried them on.

I learned something new yesterday. In general, men's non-jeans (he said dress
pants, but I really don't put cargo pants into that category. Though, it's be
cool for the James Bond types if they were. Wouldn't a pocket by one's knee
come in handy when trying to stop someone from taking over the world?) run
smaller than men's jeans.

So both pair of pants were too small. *sigh*

The shorts fit (and the underwear, but it's kind of hard to get those wrong.)
but they're jean shorts.

So he still has no nice non-jeans. We're returning the two pair of pants and
will get replacements but...well...*POUT*.

If you really like Elvis Costello, try Einstein's Sister. Seriously.
(I like both of the, so...yay for me?)

The only problem with writing while I'm dying my hair is, I can't wear my glasses (metal frames) and it kind of drives me nuts.

But, I shall go wash this out in a few minutes and everything will be roses and lollipops.

And if it isn't, well, at least I'll have really red hair again. *grin*
