Sammy and I are doing a "ready for kindergarten" workbook. One of the pages has pictures of things that one should and shouldn't play with. The kid's supposed to circle the things that should be played with and put an X on the ones that shouldn't. There was a bottle with a skull & crossbones and the word poison on the label. I was going to read it to her, when she put a big X on it. I said "Great! If you drank that, it'd make you *very* sick." And she said, eyes wide, "Yeah! And it would make you a pirate!"

I swear. I couldn't make this stuff up. :)
