Suckage! I just found out that the DC Children's Museum closed last month! The website says they did this so they could prepare for the new museum that's being built. I say that's a hell of a lot of prep, 'cause that one isn't slated to open for another four years.

Sammy's going to be bummed...that was one of the specific things she said she wanted to do while her grandparents were here. Feh.

I guess it's a good thing we didn't get the season pass last time we were there.:)

Other than that the visit is going marvelously. Not that I thought it wouldn't, but it's very cool. And I love having my mom around.

Who would have guessed in 1988 (when Mum introduced Mikeo and me) that my stepfather would turn out to be a wonderful grandfather? It's so cool.:)
