Ball Droppings. Balls drop from the top of the screen, you draw lines for them to drop on, they make music.

Charlie sings. Not words, but she vocalizes along with songs.
Also? She's in love with John Barrowman dancing to Single Ladies. C-is-for-Cookie love. But I don't think I'll buy her a John Barrowman doll...it's okay when she chews on the eyes of her Cookie doll. Watching her chew on John (or his eyes) would just be disturbing.

It was a good weekend. Long, with lots of errands, but we had fun too.
I found out that the rocking horse I was planning to get Charlie for her birthday *was* a good idea. They had the little ones at Costco and I put her on one, to see if she'd like it. She *really* did...she hung onto the reins and even figured out how to make it rock. She started to slide off, but corrected herself and stayed in the saddle with no problem. Yay. :) I'd have bought it then and there, but I want it to be an actual birthday thing, not a "Oh yeah, that was for your birthday" thing, and I didn't want to hide it in the attic for the next month. So, I'll go with the one from Amazon, which was roughly the same price for roughly the same horse. :)
I also got her two dresses for her birthday pictures. I would have only gotten one, but I couldn't find one in the stores that was right. There are a zillion Christmasy ones, but these are birthday pictures that happen to be taken in December. So I got one that I think will work and a back-up dress just in case the first one doesn't quite fit my vision. I'm usually laid-back about things like this, but when it comes to professional pictures, I have a vision and want to get as close as possible. Especially with Charlie...she's my last baby after all. :)
Sammy's kind of bummed that we can't buy an outfit for her birthday pictures, but she's bound to have a growth spurt between now and the end of March. She'd be so much *more* upset if her perfect outfit doesn't fit on the day.
