Jeff comes home today. This week has taken several years.
Charlie is *certainly* ready for him to be home. This is the second business trip he's taken since she was born. The first time, she knew something was up, but couldn't quite place what was wrong. This time, she knew from the first minute. She starts looking for him around seven each evening, and gets kinda grumpy when he doesn't appear. I think she'll explode with joy when he gets here, especially since he'll be getting home in the evening rather than the wee hours, which is when he usually arrives.
