darthgeek. We have a lot of fun. And we did have a lot of fun last night.
But, the Oscars? Were not that great. Part of it was the Cirque Du Soleil sequence, which must have been amazing if you were in the theatre. Not all that amazing on the tv. And, because of that sequence, there apparently wasn't time for the *TWO* nominated original songs to be performed. Which is why there was only a very short bit with Kermit & Miss Piggy talking rather than the Muppets performing.
I dunno. It just seemed lackluster. I hope they take lessons from this year and make next year's better.
Oh well. There's still the Tony awards (June 10).
