Yesterday, we went to Goodwill and Costco. Got Sam some great clothes (did I mention the child has had another growth spurt? Luckily, only enough to grow out of the stuff I bought her after the late winter growth spurt and not all the summer clothes she got last month), including *two* Scooby Doo dresses. It was like they knew she was gonna be there. *Grin*
Costco was *warm*, which is the quickest way to sap my strength. But we made it through. We were going to hit Trader Joe's as well, but my new shoes said no.
Then we came home, did some stuff, watched the Tonys which were *very* enjoyable and eventually we all went to sleep.
Today I've taken a shower (ooohhh), had Sam try on all the Goodwill stuff (only one pair of jeans didn't fit. Not bad.), came up with a great game to help Sam map letter sounds to the letters themselves (I make the sound and she writes down the letter. It's also writing practice, but please don't tell her that.;), made us food a couple times, wondered why my stomach hurt, had a nice conversation with my daughter, typed pleasantly at my husband and contemplated painting my nails.
It's so exciting I just can't keep up.
But it's good.
