Sometimes, I honestly have no idea what's happening in my head. At this moment, I don't know how I feel. And, I don't know how long I've been feeling like this. Oooh, bonus. *thppt*

Life is going on. SO and child are great people. Still in love with the house. Oh, and we could see *loads* of fireworks from our front windows. And not just 'cause Jeff set some off in the dirt across the street either. *grin* There's a park downtown (War Memorial park to be exact) where they were doing a lovely display. We've seen signs for it, but have never been there. This shall change though, 'cause we found out that it's more than just a park. It's *HUGE* with four playgrounds, two pools (iirc), a mini-golf course and various other things. And here I thought it was "just" a park with a war memorial on it. Silly me. Anyway, as we weren't quite sure where it was, we had no idea if we'd be able to see the fireworks from the house...but we could, beautifully. As well as some from the lower mountain (we can see two from the front windows, one above the other) and a few houses. For a few minutes, we could see five different firework displays, including Jeff's. Which was quite nifty. And there were no fingers blown off. (At least none that anyone told me about)
It started to rain roughly ten minutes after Jeff and Sammy (who'd watched from the window with me) gathered up the ex-fireworks and put them in the trash. Kind of it to wait.

I think Sam and I will have a movie festival. Popcorn, animated movies and some serious cuddle time with my favorite kid may just be what I need right now. Couldn't hurt.
~~~
In case it's ever a question on Jeopardy, I find each and every one of you nifty. Yes, you too. Maybe even especially you.
~~~
It doesn't feel like a Friday. Especially since Jeff worked at home on Wednesday. I'm not *complaining*, mind you. Just wondering where that wandering time warp came from.

It's just a jump to the left...
