Dear ghods but yesterday sucked. Today may not be perfect, but compared to yesterday, it's pretty wonderful.

Five years ago today, we left my in-law's basement for good. It was one of the best days of my very life. Yaaaaaaaaaaay.

epi_lj, we have a single slice toaster that you can use to write a message on your toast. Very, very interesting.

That was weird. I picked up a pen, to add a couple things to a shopping list, and there was no ink. It was a Pilot pen, not a dip pen, so this was odd. I checked the container, but there was no ink in the bottom. The only place this pen has been since I bought it was my pen bukkit and my hand when I was writing. The ink is *gone*...without a trace. Spooooooooooooooooky. Pentergeists!

Look, you're one of my favorite months. Things generally start to cool off, weather-wise. School supplies are cheap, and there's a feeling of newness in the air. So, please, lay off the people I love. Actually, if you could lay off everyone (in a non-job-losing sort of way), that would be nifty. (Wouldn't happen, but what the hell...may as well ask.) Don't make me give you the looks I gave August.
Really enjoying the cool down and looking forward to the leaves turning.

Trying very hard to be a sunbeam today. Which won't work. I'm naturally one of the universe's little thunderclouds. But, I'm doing my best.

I got Sam a Princess craft kit a while ago. She finished it today, and this conversation happened.
"Is this a crown or a tortilla?" "Um...oh. Tiara. But that's a crown."
