Dude! He got me the complete ST:TNG! All seven seasons. I'll finally get to watch them without commercials. Wow. As if I needed more evidence that my husband rocked. *grin*

Damn. Colin Farrell is a class act.

Seriously...read the article. It's not that long and definitely better than any synopsis I'd do. He did the the kind of thing I hope I do if I ever get rich. And, he pretty much has my respect forever. Not just because he did it, but because of the *way* he did it. Like "Oh cool, I remember you...and I can do this for you", not a "I am a god and I bestow this upon you".

{Apparently, the Toronto Sun's site has *no* archives...'cause that's where the original article was and there isn't a sign of it now. *Frustrating*.}

Make money in your underwear. Well, *that* sounds painful. If nothing else, it would lead to paper cuts in some *very* delicate areas.

And I don't even want to *think* about coins being struck.

I've been listening to audio books as a way to ease into sleep for a while now. And have found they're absolutely *terrible* for that. I get ridiculously interested in what's going to happen next.

Well, I choose the books that I'm interested in. It seems a great waste to get boring books. And even if I did, I'll bet I'd still wonder what happened next.

Unless they were read badly. "Magic Kingdom for Sale...Sold!" was read badly. Not exactly in a monotone, but it just wasn't good. And the reader didn't sound like he cared about what happened next. If *he* doesn't care, why should I?

I found a copy of an American Gods audiobook...it's Gaiman...and I've read the book a couple times. So, this was a good plan. Except that the reader (can't remember either readers *name*, of course) was terrible. He used very little inflection and seemed like he'd be more comfortable reading a phone book than a fantasy adventure.

But, those are the ones I can't listen to, 'cause they're painful. The ones I think might lull me to sleep, like David Halberstam's 1776, interest me to no end. I thought I knew that history, but I didn't *know* it.

Ah well. I'll just have to make time to be read to during the day. :)

Maybe I can just make a giant mp3 of John saying "Numbah nine"...;)

To be honest, I'm doing better with the whole sleeping thing. I still take the pills when I need to and seem to have fallen into some sort of routine. I don't quite know *how*, but this is one of those things I'm not looking at too closely, in case I notice the loose thread and give it a pull.

I still can't believe he got me all of ST:TNG. I am agog.

On Saturday, around twilight, we passed a just-happened accident while on the way to dinner. It seemed a bit more than a fender bender, but far less than just about everything else. And I'm *very* curious about the scene on the corner as we passed. There were three adults, one toddler in her car seat (out of the car. Damn good way to keep her out of trouble if she didn't want to be held) and a deer's head, stuffed and flat on the back as if it had been mounted but without the board.

To add to the weirdness, the officer talking to the group was asking the guy to lift his shirt. Probably to show a bruise or somesuch, but maybe to find out where the deer got him...

Oooh. I *really* like the sixteenth's Skull of the day.

~~~
Wild. There's a bear hiding in plain sight on the Toblerone logo.
Happy six months after and six months till St. Patrick's day.
No, I'm not really counting the days...I just happened to notice today's date. :)
