Yesterday's thunderstorm was spectacular. I could feel the thunder in my spine. It was great. And it cooled things down beautifully.
I definitely approve. (I'm sure the weather's all relieved to read that.;)

Top Chef was interesting. I was very pleased with who'd won. And, not only did I not have a problem with who was sent home, I was surprised that person had *made* it that far, as sie seemed to be trying *so* very hard to land in the middle in each competition.

I love Dinosaur Comics.

Okay, first of all, this truly, truly sucks and I hope Bank of America does the right thing by these people. And secondly, I kept reading the woman's name as Bette Midler and going "Wait, she's not eighty! Nor is her husband, though, I think he may be older than she is...still not eighty though".

I really, *really* like being able to hear the train whistles. There are tracks all around Martinsburg, so we can hear many different trains. There are tracks down the road from our house, and we can see a couple trains a day...and now that I've gotten Sam to stop yelling *TRAIN* every time one comes by, I look forward to the glimpses. :)

It's not like I'm counting the hours to the CSI premier.
But...if I was, I'd say less than "five and a half!".
