The trip went off without a hitch. Charlie's stitches are out and she doesn't have to see the surgeon till June, when she'll have her port replaced. This is a non-surgical procedure that the doc said that, once we saw it done, we could do at home if we're comfortable with that.

Though, she's eating so well that there's a chance that she might not even need it in three months. We can but hope.

She's now twelve pounds, four ounces and twenty four inches long. She's rather hard to measure, and we've gotten so many differing reports on her length that I take them with a grain of salt. But, the nurse (who was really fabulous) laid her down and made a mark above her head, then stretched out her leg and marked where the bottom of her foot was. I picked her up and the nurse measured between the marks. Now why doesn't everyone do it that way? :)
