(no subject)

I understand the need for dolls that look like all kinds of kids (when I was...little...I got a doll with long brown hair and *GLASSES*. I was in heaven.) and I like the idea that kids with Downs Syndrome can dolls that look like them. I really do think it's a great idea.

But someone needs to do *something* about the clothing these poor dears are wearing. Oy.

if you read the fine print... it says.. "actual clothing may vary"
now, that can be a good thing, or a bad thing....

I'm going to have to second you on that! xo

eeek. good lord, they're downs kids, not loser kids - give 'em clothes that aren't so dowdy.

You mean all kids don't want to dress like this? But it's such a swanky collar!!! ;-)

I don't think the expression with the tongue sticking out like that is very nice, either. How about a smile?

Well, a lot of kids with Downs tend to stick their tongues out...as far as I know, it isn't something they can control, so I can understand the appeal of a doll with it's tongue out. There are a couple that are smiling though.:)

Gessi

OY!

Gawd that clothing looks like something my grandmother would make me wear.....those bitchin' collars have GOT to go.

Good grief! I have to agree with you on that one. The dolls are great, but the clothes have got to have some work!
