Bother

My favorite boards (hipmama.com) just announced that they're closing. *sigh* They are giving us time to collect e-addies and addresses for other sites that might give us some of the same resources as HM, but the whole thing is very sad. I set up a community here (hmhaven), and have joined a couple mailing lists and so on, but {duh mode} it just won't be the same.{/duh mode}. Especially with me being so very horrible at initiating e-mail (and, as some of you are probably thinking to yourselves, responding in a timely manner.). I understand why they did it...but that doesn't make any of it easier.
