I just spent a couple hours getting the colors in my journal perfect, using the Hex Code Helper (which is a wonderful little program) and everything.

It makes me feel a lot better to find that some of my friends are just as nuts as I am. *Grin* Getting it just right makes me happy.

I also made a bunch of icons last night and liked eight of them enough to use 'em. (I love the kalidescope tool in PSP...something else I can over-customize. Joy!) I was going to let y'all vote on the final one, but then the "right" one popped out at me.:)

Went to the craft store today, and only spent thirty dollars. Wooo! *grin* Polyclay was on sale, as were paper, ribbon and paintbrushes. It was like they knew I was gonna be there. :)

I want to answer the replies to my end-of-the-rope post, but I'm not completely sure when I'll have the time, and I don't want anyone to feel neglected...so, I read them all, and I appreciate 'em too. And, you're right, I do have to get out. Jeff's schedule can make it difficult at times, 'cause I kind of don't have nights free (he works from four to midnight), but I could have he and Sam drop me off somewhere on a day he's telecommuting and take a bus or taxi home. (Even if I had my license, I'm still rawther intimidated by the size of the van.)

Went to Goodwill on Sunday, looking for one of those top of the stove popcorn poppers with the paddle thingies in the bottom that are operated with a handle in the...handle. (In other words, I'm tired of shaking the pan and hate the noise it makes, but my popcorn addiction is kind of serious.*grin*) They had a couple there last time, but none today. And the person pricing the kitchen stuff has gone insaaaaaaaane. Pans that weren't worth more than three dollars were priced at six, a rusted madeline pan was going for three and so on. Which is why I didn't buy anything nifty, kitchen-wise.

I did score nicely in the shoe dept. though. Got a pair of Eeyore slippers (the kind with the head and all) and a great pair of five hole platform boots...they're not as high as my boots of death, but maybe they won't make me fall over either. *Grin* (I'm still lusting over the knee-high flat boots at Alloy, but will probably wait for a sale or coupon. 'Cause that's what I usually do.:)

Not much going on right now. I'm waiting for Sam to fall asleep so I can start the laundry and start working on all the craft projects in my mind. (I can do crafty stuff with her awake, but right now, I don't feel like dealing with it.)

My moods keep going up and down...from feeling really good to wanting to be in an isolation chamber for like...a year. I'm trying to stabalize...not sure that I'm doing a great job, but the effort is being made. That's something, right?

When we're living somewhere permanent again, we're going to have to get Sam a dog, STAT. She talks about having a puppy all the time, and she recently acquired an invisible uff-uff.

Of course...she also talks about yellow busses a lot, and we're not getting her a real one of those...:)
