Jul. 5th, 2003 08:55 amI just realized that damn near evey picture of me, that I like, past the age of thirteen or so, wasn't just capturing *me* on film but a good moment.
The photograph this userpic comes from was of me in the fabulous gown Jeff bought me for Mother's Day (it had to go back because it didn't fit right, but was too pretty to not take a pic or two.:)...I was on our patio and Sam, who was about fourteen months old at the time, had just come out and looked up at me...which is why I was looking down and smiling.
There's another pic I'm cleaning up (we didn't have a good scanner for quite a while, so I didn't get to preserve it before I stuck it on the fridge) of Sam and I on the bed, her in velvet onesie & my boots, me in black dress and a green scarf
tesselene made for me (we looked like a crime fighting duo...Scarf Woman & Boot Girl.:) Sam's grinning with her whole body and I'm laughing. It is one of those perfect moments. (Now if only I could remember what was so funny...)
So, now I'm wondering if the instantness of the digital camera we're edging toward buying will bring more pictures I like or will the everpresentness of the contraption will create thousands of "Dear Ghods, delete that!" shots.
