Rocker Billy Joel has broken his wrist whilst inspecting work on his Long Island, New York house. The "New York State Of Mind" hitmaker was trying to locate a light switch, which had been moved, and had to have five pins inserted into his arm.

That's all they say, except that he should make a full recovery and this will nix some of his plans.

I dunno...I have a feeling there's more to it than that. I've missed light switches in my day, and I've *never* had to have pins put in my arm...or anywhere else, for that matter.

We got it! We got the townhouse. We'll have space and a backyard and a basement and a front step. We can grow flowers and tomatoes and zucchini and I'll have house plants and Sam can have her own room and there'll be room for my dining table and there's crash space and we can buy stuff in bulk and we won't be instantly overwhelmed by clutter 'cause we'll have *Space*.
