myschyf: (Dandelion Break!)
My hair's finally long enough to put a hair stick in again. Yay! (well, I've been using them around the house, but they had a tendency to slide around a bit, which drives me nuts when I'm out) Now I know exactly how long to keep my hair...or at least how short to not have it.

And I remembered to take my pills today, all by myself. I'm all grown-up now. *Grin*

*looks at doughnut and doritos* Well. somewhat. I'm drinking loads of water though.:) (And we actually have soda around...this isn't a desperation drink) We used to have a *BIG* container in the fridge with water in it...it's a long rectangle with a handle on the top and a spout on the front. It was great. But then we needed the space for food...and I find we've been drinking about half the water we used to because the really cold stuff isn't available. So, while I was at Target last night (needed two more storage thingies for my stamps and such), I found a pair of liter bottles with pop off-caps (that are tethered to the top of the bottle) ...I filled them and stuck 'em in the fridge before I went to bed. If Jeff's home we can each have one and if he isn't, I can drink one then refill it and drink the other while the first is cooling. (And I'm sure you're all thrilled to hear about this. *grin*)

We went to see Shrek2 yesterday...I think I actually liked it more than the original. And thank you to [livejournal.com profile] davehogg for the tip about staying till the credits are over. I definitely second the motion. We came in after the previews started and Sammy was *not* thrilled with the Harry Potter trailer and wanted to leave. But we reassured her that it wasn't the movie, just a commercial and once it was over she was happy again. There were a few parts near the beginning when she was bored, but she did *really* well. And I have renewed my love for matinees, especially weekday ones. There were enough people in the theatre that it didn't feel like we were sitting in a cave, but we weren't on top of one another either. Very cool.

My newest addiction is Kingdom Of Loathing. It's far too silly and I like it very much.

[livejournal.com profile] girly_grrl is posting! Yay! (And another comes over to the dark lj side)

I've got about a thousand things to do (including the dreaded l*ndry, which, I must say, I actually like doing. Sad, huh?;) so I shall start. With frequent breaks to check my friends list. *grin*
