Nov. 30th, 2004 03:34 amShould probably take the poor sick Sammy upstairs but she's all curled up on the couch in a nest of blankets, very asleep. And she hasn't had one nightmare...she had a bunch last night. I don't know why she gets nightmares right before she gets truly sick (ie beyond the sniffles) but that has been the pattern for a few years now. I really hope that goes away with time. I'd wish she wouldn't get sick at all, but that's completely unrealistic and probably not the best for her in the long run.

I need to make new icons. Not *all* new icons, but there are some I've been thinking about. Of course, I also need to make Holiday gifts, cards and other fun things. So, iconage will probably have to wait...at least until I'm in uber-procrastination mode. *grin*

Jeff's doing *much* better. He stayed home today because he'd been having major problems with his voice going away, but he seems very nearly better, or at least highly functioning. I'm quite pleased by this. And not just 'cause it's nice that at least one member of the family is healthy, though that *is* nice.

Have finally switched to Firefox for browserly things and Thunderbird for mail. I reconfigured a couple things wrong at first, but once Jeff and I figured out what I'd done and where I'd done it, everything went smoothly. I'm quite pleased with both products. Even if I do keep hitting ctrl-n for a new window without remembering that Firefox takes that to mean a new WINDOW rather than just a tab. I'll get it eventually.:)
