Yesterday evening Sammy said "Hey Daddy, guess what?!" "What?" "Mama finished her *Book*!" "Really?" "Uh-huh. An' I am very proud of her." I thanked her...and didn't have the heart to tell her that I finish books a lot. *Grin*

Got the cds from the swap and they are terrific. I adore new music, especially hand-picked new music.:)

Amazon is so weird. Got mail that an order might be delayed. The next day, I found the boxes on my doorstep. Ten minutes after I brought in said boxes, got mail that the order had been shipped. Either they've perfected the transporter or someone was out of order. :)

This may be more Interview than anyone ever needs in hir whole wide life.

It was raining when we went out yesterday, and started snowing while we were at dinner. Sammy was the most excited kidlet ever. She had marvelous plans to play in the snow with Jeff and I alllllll the next day. I gently told her that there was a possibility that it wouldn't be a lot of snow and if it *wasn't* a lot of snow, her father would be going into work as usual and there probably wouldn't be much to play in. We headed over to get her a warm hat and mittens anyway, 'cause she's outgrown the set from last year and even if she hadn't, it's better to have one to change into when the first set gets wet. Also picked up a pair of thick tights and a bag o' socks for her little feetsickles.
The blizzard she was planning didn't happen, but she got to make some snowballs, and the snow will return soonish. When it does, we will be ready.:)
