Apr. 8th, 2005 05:26 amHi. Still not dead. Have been installing the new hard drive, which will hopefully stop that pesky blue screening problem, 'cause I'm pretty sure the problem partition is the former d drive, which is in the now unused drive. The unused drive will eventually be added to Dragon, but right now, I'm quite happy with two, especially since the new drive is rawther huge. But the real reason I'll be happy is 'cause it'll be nice to know that things won't barf while I'm away from the computer.

So, I've been spending lots of time sitting on the couch with Sammy (and have promised to teach her how to embroider, or as she says "embroidery", which should be fun. That's about the age I started, iirc) and generally having a laid back time. When I wasn't sitting in front of the computer, waiting ten minutes to hit one key. *Grin*
Have been having good luck with movies on tv lately...in the past couple days, I caught 84 Charing Cross Road (from the very beginning...I have it on dvd, but it's one of my always movies...will watch it as often as possible), How To Marry A Millionaire, Victor/Victoria *and* the Maltese Falcon. This may mean I've used up my luck for the next week or so, but I think it was worth it. :)

Had one and a half days of spring before it started to rain again. Hey, half a day longer than in the Bradbury story about the children on Mars. :)
