So, I'm on this mailing list. And one person's sig is:

Chances are people you don't even know are being introduced to your journal every day, either randomly or through someone else. In addition to recent entries, people can get to know you better by what you posted in the past. With that in mind post a link to your entries on this day exactly six months ago, nine months ago, and a year ago. If there was no entry on that day, link the closest date.

Six months ago was February...nothing on the eighteenth, but we get Sammy stuff on the seventeenth.

Nine months ago was November and...my birthday! Wild. :) I don't know why that sort of thing surprises me. It's part of the year like everything else.

And a year ago was August again. I didn't post on the eighteenth, but there were three entries on the seventeenth, which I suppose makes up for it.;) I was hopeful about building bookcases, disgruntled that one of the bookcases was missing the shelves and amused at the Sammy

*Damn* but my pants have been cranky lately. My right wrist & lower arm have also been cranky. I don't think it's related though.

Mum and Mikeo are coming out for Christmas week! YAY!

Stories From Space is *such* a nifty site. The Secret Worlds alone make it worth the click. There *are* bugs (insects, not errors) on the site, so if you're bug phobic, probably not the best place to go. I didn't see any in the Secret Worlds though.:)

Pineapple&Cilantro Candles. World of Ew.

The rest seem safe enough, and there are a number I'd like to try, but the very idea of cilantro candles icks me...and that's without mixing it with pineapple, which I generally like on its own. (I'm one of the people for whom cilantro tastes like soap)

Things I've learned while looking out the window at the construction:

Foundations are very complicated things with many layers that take a very long time to put together.

Kind of like wedding cakes, but with less frosting and no candied birds.
