Aug. 30th, 2005 02:28 amToday was *not* a good day. It wasn't a horrible day, it was a day of being nibbled to death by ducks. A day of pumpkin bread falling on it's way to the cutting board (with a very audible *pumphf!*), repeatingrepeatingrepeating myself, feeling out of sorts and getting the barest of things done. Frustrated more than angry.
Tomorrow will come and it'll probably be a lot better. Into The Woods is at the top of my Netflix Queue, and I should have that by Thursday. That alone tells me that I won't stay cranky all week long.
~~~
Sammy's doing very well in math and her handwriting is improving as well. She's also leaping and bounding down the road to reading. So far, we seem to be doing things right.
~~~
The houses in back are filling out. A few have a third story already. My view from the bedroom and sunroom is changing. This makes me a bit melancholy. I liked looking for the mountains from my desk and watching the red blinky-lights as I fell asleep. But everything changes and, as far as I can tell, this will be an interesting change.
~~~
There really isn't much to tell right now. Days pass, usually well. I clean the kitchen and raise the kid and clean the kitchen and read and clean the kitchen and try to spend time with the family rather than each of us doing our own thing.
And then I clean the kitchen again. *grin*
~~~
Jeff rocks. Just in case anyone wondered.
~~~
*thinks* Yeah, that's all. Love to all of you.
