[livejournal.com profile] firinel, thank you! Your drawing made me smile, a lot.

Thanks, y'all, for the hat help. I'm going to attempt it tonight and if it doesn't go well, I'll post sadly. If it does go well, hats for everyone! *Grin*

Had a hell of a time going to sleep last night. My brain just wouldn't turn off. It was rawther annoying. After Jeff left for work, I debated getting up, but I thought it might be good if I was rested rather than nodding off during the day. So, I opened the windows (which we generally don't do in the mornings, 'cause of the construction sounds...they hadn't started yet, but would when the dawn came) and the breeze on my skin finally let me drift off.

I did love the conversation Jeff and I had while he was getting ready, but I think it could have waited. My brain was not happy with me, so wouldn't give up the words I was trying to use. We were talking about going shopping this weekend and I was trying to say that I wanted to find a folding stepladder for the kitchen, so the top shelves could be utilized. But I couldn't remember the word for ladder. So I went with "Stairs! Little stairs, for the kitchen." Which, he did understand, but dammit...it was nearly as frustrating as my stuttering. Which has gone away, mostly. Unless I forget to take my ginko. Then it comes back and neeners at me.

This stuff is just another reason why I'm more comfortable writing than talking.

~~~
I suppose I should post this before I forget it again, huh? :)
