I went to sleep ridiculously early yesterday (it was a nap that got out of control), so woke at dawn this morning. And the house was freezy. Which isn't anything new, as we're in the habit of turning off the heat when we go to bed. I tried to hold off turning it on in a "Well, it's just me that's cold" sort of way. When I started shivering, I got up to turn it on, and found that it was 59 degrees in here (I'll never really understand temperatures...fifty nine outside is lovely, but inside is a terrible sweater, socks and hat climate). It's warming up nicely now, but my right hand hasn't recieved the message yet. It is ridiculously cold, and I'm thinking of running it under hot water to prevent freezer burn.

In other news, we're getting the tree today. Yay! I love yule trees. We have to buy lights again. I don't know *where* our lights go...it seems that we need to buy them every year. Someone, somewhere, has an abundance of lights and they don't understand why. *Grin*

Yulemas cards are going out, slowly but surely. I'm halfway through the I/J section in my book.

Sammy played in the snow on the deck yesterday. It's a very fine non-packing snow, which didn't stop her from making a snow...lump on her chair. :)
