As seen in epi_lj's journal, Alan Rickman reading My Mistress' Eyes Are Nothing Like The Sun. It's a flash file, but the wait is *Well* worth it.

It's an ad for When Love Speaks, which is an album of Shakespeare's sonnets in both spoken word and music. Not only must I acquire this, I must seek out anything that Alan Rickman has read and acquire that as well.

I am out of Yulemas cards! I know, I'm as surprised as anyone. I've filled out seventy-nine (one of the envelopes was needed for something else, so Sammy has a card of her very own) and Jeff's been mailing them from Union Station. And now, I'm waiting for the Victorian Trading company to send me more. It's a good thing these are general cards...and that New Year's is so a Winter Holiday. *Grin*

In other news, it snowed most of the day, which was beautiful. Then decided to dissolve into frozen rain, which is less beautiful. I really hope Jeff has no problems in the train station parking lot and the driveway. I don't want him any more broken than he already is. I'd salt down the path to the house, but it's still raining so that probably wouldn't do a whole lot of good.

I'm reallyreally pleased with the table I bought. It's wide enough that things don't fall off while I'm doing other stuff (ie the envelopes don't fall off when I'm writing the cards), the height is adjustable and it folds completely so I can stick it in the closet.

This means I can do stuff in the living room with the other people who live here rather than having to stay in here 'cause I just don't have the space out there. YAY!

It's also uber-portable, so I can lock myself in the bedroom and do the wrapping without worrying about where to cut the paper and so forth.

I did good. :)

I should go make muffins. We're having scrambled eggs for dinner tonight ('cause it's a cozy sort of night and I don't feel like making soup) and I think muffins would be just the thing.:)
