May. 2nd, 2006 01:01 pmYesterday, Sammy was having a bit of an allergy attack. Nothing huge and it was gone when she woke up, so no worries there. I just got done sneezing ten times in a row (which isn't quite as much fun as it sounds) and was curious as to the pollen index in my corner of the planet. So, I googled it and found the Alavert page, which has a pollen index thinger up in the corner (Flash-based, but not huge). Remarkably useful.
Today's pollen count for my zip code are 9.9 and considered "Very high" (I guess 10 would be "Absurdly high"). Nice to have a neat explanation for things. :) Not that I *doubted* it was allergies, but it's good to know I'm reacting to the huge amount of pollen and that I'm not oversensitive to it, as I was this time last year.
That's a lot of words for "yay", isn't it? ;)
