May. 24th, 2006 10:10 pmOh, *EW*! M&M Flavors. They've all got white chocolate in them (I've always been of the firm opinion that white chocolate *isn't*, and since most of it is cheap as hell, it tastes like sweet cardboard) and just the shells have the flavors. So they probably taste all fakey. Bleah.
Oh, the mint chocolate one doesn't have white chocolate. And it's the only one that doesn't sound icky...coincidence? I think not.
Even if I *did* want them, they're only available online, and they want *fifty* dollars for the variety pack. Do they not realize these are M&M's?! For fifty dollars, I expect a *hell* of a lot of M&mness. Not a tin that looks like a Trival Pursuit piece.
I'll stick with my bag of peanut M&M's, thankyouverymuch.
Besides, I just don't think the peach kind would go well with buttered popcorn.

Finished Widdershins. No spoilers, but it was *wonderful*.
myfriendjenny, would you like me to lend it to you, via media mail? Jeff's just now reading his first De Lint (Somewhere to be Flying), and I really think one needs to read The Onion Girl and Spirit in the Wires to get the most out of it. (Attn. everyone else. It *can* stand alone with no problem. This is just like reading Discworld in order. You don't *have* to, you just get more out of it if you do.) So, wouldn't be a problem.:)

Just finished watching Now Voyager. It's been one of my favorite movies for a very long time now. It was on TCM, and I only caught the second half, but there are some glorious moments there. It's one of those movies that makes me give a big sigh when it's finished. A sort of thanks to the deities of filmmaking to allow such a piece of beauty.

I was going to watch the Top Chef finale, but not after Now Voyager. Twinkies are great every now and then, but not after such a meal as that.
Besides, I liked Dave. Now that he's gone, I hope Harlod wins and if he doesn't, oh well. I was impressed with Stephen on the reunion show (Jeff and I watched the marathon on Saturday)...I gather he watched the series and was horrified with his behavior. It may be a twinkie of a show, but it did a bit of good in the world.

Dear ghods, I do believe the child is asleep. Miracle!

Oh how odd. The Lj dictionary has Filmmaker and Filmmakers but refuses to see Filmmaking as a word.
