darthgeek and sammy_grrrl got me a very cool pen with a flower on top, a card with both Snoopy *and* Woodstock and the very niftiest thingie ever. A soft stuffed penguin wearing headphones that are actually speakers. One plugs in a device that makes music and the penguin shares that music with the world. OH so nifty.:)

I think they got me something else, too. But, the child insisted on giving it to me when they bought it, two weeks ago. And while I'm sure I liked it very much, I can't remember what it was. Which is why I didn't want it then. But the kid's a lot like me...she hates waiting to give people stuff. They got the penguin today while running into Safeway to get me Dramamine. She tried to tell me what it was three times before we were home and I actually got the thing. Silly girl. :)

Yeah, I was nauseated in the car again. Didn't barf, at *all*, which was good. Didn't take the Dramamine either, 'cause it said "Less drowsy formula", not "Non-drowsy" and I didn't want to be half-asleep (or more) the rest of the day. I would have taken it either way, but Jeff found Sea Bands. I tried 'em and while they're not a miracle cure, they helped a *lot*. And they didn't make me tired at all. *Grin* They also came with a little case, which is bloody useful, 'cause it's more difficult to lose a thing in a case. Oh, I could do it, but it'd be something of a challenge.

Finally started reading "Down & Out in the Magic Kingdom" today and though I'm only a prologue and a chapter in, I really love this story. It may turn out to be the book I keep by my stuff in the living room, not because I need it downstairs but to keep me from devouring it too quickly. Of course, that usually ends up with me forgetting why the book is down there, taking it up with me when I go to bed and finishing it that night/morning.

Poor, poor, pitiful me.

Found a gorgeous dresser at Ikea. I can't buy it on the site, so we're makin' lists, checkin' 'em twice and looking to rent a van or pickup for an Ikea run sometime next month. It'll be an adventure. With meatballs!
