Dear ghods but it's windy today. Not in a "Oh dear, someone's pasted Piglet to the window" sort of way, but in the "Oh dear, I wonder if I should open the windows a bit, so the next big gust doesn't break them" sort of way. Luckily, it only *feels* that way, so we don't have to sit around in our winter coats with hats on till the blusteryness settles down.

On the back of the current issue of The Week (12/7), there's a repulsive ad for diamonds. There's a gorgeous bracelet (though, I'd be terrified to wear it, 'cause I'd always be afraid I'd either lose or damage it) and the copy reads "Hey, what do you know, she thinks you're funny again".
Just...ugh.

So, Lj has been sold again? Interesting.
And really, for the moment, that's all I have to say about that. 'Cause there's absolutely nothing I can do about it, and so far, everything's the same, so even if it is going to suck, it doesn't yet.

Oooooooh. A high school student hunting fossils in the badlands of his native North Dakota discovered an extremely rare mummified dinosaur that includes not just bones but also seldom seen fossilized soft tissue such as skin and muscles. Now that...*that* is nifty.
