Jan. 3rd, 2008 02:27 amSo weird. We've got an XM Radio in the kitchen (love XM so much...and would probably love Sirius if we'd gotten that. The radios are worth every penny we've paid for them) and the antenna died, 'cause the cord got pinched in the deck's boards and was basically hanging by a wire. So, we're using the antenna from upstairs and will get a new one for that one soon. This is all lead-up, not weirdness.
The *weird* thing is, I had the antenna in a place where it wasn't happy, and it was complaining. *But* it was receiving a signal and playing one of the stations I usually listen to with no problem. Then, I remembered I'd wanted to program the NPR station into my...remembered stations. I found it, but the channel wouldn't load. It would try valiantly, then go back to the other station. I tried three or four times, and it never loaded enough for me to program it. So, I went out and moved the antenna around. Eventually, I found the right place, everything worked and the reprogramming went fine. But I still can't figure out why it was able to find the stations we often listen to with no problem but freaked out when I tried to load a new station, even though it was all the same radio, using the same antenna and the same signal.

Tour Debi Mazar's kitchen. How nifty! And not just 'cause I've had a crush on her from the first moment I laid eyes on the woman. Not even because she still strongly reminds me of a classic Barbie doll. But because I love seeing other people's kitchens and stuff.

This is goofy and nifty. Past flavors at Baskin Robbins.
Like Miami Ice. Created in 1986. Miami Ice hit stores along with TV hit Miami Vice. Lime ice made with a puree of lime and lime juices swirled with pink grapefruit ice made with fresh pink grapefruit juice.

Sam was feeling a bit under the weather earlier, but seems much better now. Yay.:)
