Feb. 29th, 2008 04:11 pmI'm a bit tired of being steered from one holiday/even to the next. Yes, St. Patrick's day *is* coming up and yes, it can be lots of fun. But it isn't really something I need lots of prep for, and I *certainly* didn't need to start hearing about it the day after Valentine's day, which I started hearing about in early January. I'm sure they would have mentioned it sooner, if they hadn't thought there was a risk of revolt from the Winter Holiday Season Weary.
They, in this case, is stores and "the media", not individuals. I *love* to hear what's going on with y'all...besides, none of you are trying to push me to do stuff. Also, green beer is an abomination unto Nuggan (thought I'd toss that one in there).

Yesterday afternoon, a flock of birds flew past my window, several times. I went over to the porch door and peeked out. There seemed to be thousands of them. I went out onto the porch and managed to get some pretty good pictures. I had to leave them big because there's so much detail. Didn't want everyone going "Why are we looking at pictures of black smudges". ;) ( I love my camera )
