(no subject)

Oy. On the good side, the tea spilled in a place were it could do the least damage. On the bad side, my keyboard was in the way, and it was a freshly filled cup.I'll see what happens tomorrow, but I have a bad feeling that this keyboard is no more. I did do my best to dry it, but there's a good chance it was dead before I got to the paper towels.

Did you know that if you are drying a keyboard with a hair dryer and spend too long on one area, the keys can melt and warp a little? Both my T and G keys can attest to this.

I am truly glad for the onscreen keyboard, even if it is sloooooow. Which is why the kb was invented first...if people had to figure out how to write without typing, this computer thing never would have caught on. ;)

Also, clicking out long thoughts puts me to sleep. But, it honestly is far better than nothing.

Jeff got home around eleven-thirtyish last night. And there was much rejoicing. *Kermit type yaaaayy*

Sam was thrilled that she got to wait up, and didn't even mope much when it was time for bed. 'Nother *yay* there.

I always seem to forget that after three or four days of a cold, my tastebuds are terribly muted. It is also often the time my throat-ache goes (mostly) away and my appetite returns. Which just goes to prove that Mother Nature has a very weird sense of humor.
