Jun. 4th, 2009 01:36 pmOn the good (very good) side, The Carol Burnett Show is being released on dvd, full episodes not just "Favorites".
On the bleh side, it's selected shows.
On the suck side, it's via Guthy/Renker and costs either ten or twenty dollars a disc, two discs a month.
I love the show, so very much. I've been waiting for it to *really* be on dvd for years. But I can't really afford twenty or forty bucks a month till the end of time. I also dislike not being able to figure out if it's twenty or forty a shipment and resent having to dig around the site to find out, as that sort of thing should be obvious on the front page. Which is why I haven't dug yet.
Back on the good side, since they are on dvd now, I'm going to go ahead and assume they'll be released in stores some day. I've waited this long, so what's a few more years?
