Mar. 24th, 2010 10:31 amNope, not currently an ex-parrot. (Still) trying to get our sleep schedules back on track, plus trying to de-pitticize the house, so my parents won't get lost in the clutter.
Honestly, we've been struggling since January...it seems like Jeff's either been traveling or getting ready to go, and that throws everything out of whack here. We're working on getting back to normal, but it seems to be an uphill battle.

Filled out the census and sent it back. It wasn't as exciting as I expected. ;) I did alter the form a bit...every time they had "Sex", I crossed it out and wrote "Gender". I doubt it will change anything, but it made *me* feel better.
I also slapped a Queer the Census sticker on the back. Again, probably won't do much good, but what the hell, y'know?

I assume that the remaining Beatles were given copies of Beatles Rock Band. I really hope that they played it together, at least once. And that Ringo played guitar while Paul manned the drums. *grin*

Democrats shouldn't expect much cooperation from Republicans the rest of this year, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) warned Monday.
And this would change things how, exactly?
Jeeze, John, if you're going to make petty threats, you might want to threaten to take something away, not just maintain the status quo. Also, *thpppt* with a side of neener.

I really wish this season's allergies hadn't taken the form of aggressive sinus clogging and a sore throat. One or the other would be annoying enough.
Luckily, I have tea. This makes things bearable.

How wild! Chickenfoot is going to be on Aqua Teen Hunger Force on my Sam's birthday, otherwise known as this Sunday. :) (For those of you new to our broadcast, yes, she's named after Mr. Hagar.)

Charlie is theoretically almost asleep in her rocking chair beside me. Like her sister, I'm not able to *look* at her when she's close to sleep, or she wakes all the way back up. I'd cross my fingers, but that might add enough to the noise level in the room to also wake her all the way back up. ;)
