As you know, Bob, I don't think anyone should go see the movie based on Avatar: The Last Airbender because of the *tons* of racism in the casting and other parts of the movie. Like changing the Chinese characters to "squiggles" because it was "easier". Really? REALLY?!

Anyway. Roger Ebert had to see it, 'cause it's his job and he wrote an amazing review. I don't think it's going to make many top-ten lists...though it might sweep the Razzies. His review begins:"The Last Airbender" is an agonizing experience in every category I can think of and others still waiting to be invented. The laws of chance suggest that something should have gone right. Not here. It puts a nail in the coffin of low-rent 3D, but it will need a lot more coffins than that."

Watch the original series...it's marvelous. And available to stream on Netflix. *grin*

I love this shirt *so* very much. I just wish the shirt itself wasn't beige. I don't wear light-colored shirts. Partially 'cause I always get something on them and partially 'cause I spend the time I'm wearing said shirt worried about getting something on it.

DUDE! I found a bathing suit with pockets!

Ooooh. That was cool. I googled for coupons, and found that the site itself had them. Including one for thirty percent off...so, with shipping, I paid nine dollars less than the regular price of the suit. Which ins't as good as pockets, but it's pretty damn good, and I still *get* the pockets. *grin*

Sam's final swim lesson is today. I *really* hope she passes this year. I'll be crossing all crossable stuff for her.
