Dec. 27th, 2010 04:47 pmI have adored Barney Frank for at least fifteen years now, probably longer. One of the reasons why.

We had a lovely Yulemas celebration. Charlie was very into it this year. She had a *wonderful* time ripping the wrapping paper off presents, wether or not they were hers. *grin* My mom got her this wonderfully soft baby doll that came dressed in a diaper and shirt. Charlie immediately hugged it and rocked it, then proceeded to take the clothes off, and would not let us put them back on no matter *what*. I'd grab the shirt and go "Let's dress your baby." She'd say "Noooooooooooh. Baybe dahl, nayked!". Yes, after the first couple times, I did it once more just 'cause it was fun. Baby's still "nayked". Poor thing must be so cold.;)
Sammy was thrilled with her gifts, including the BuildABear Clarice (from Rudolph, not Silence of the Lambs) that she only mentioned 4675124597800356 times in the past month.
Jeff got the XKCD book, the first Dinosaur Comic book, a video game that I can't remember the name of, a couple other things and some t-shirts, including a Beavis & Butthead shirt that thrilled him. Yay!
I got The Ultimate Death (which finishes my Ultimate Sandman collection) and a couple books I'd really wanted. Okay, Ultimate Death is a book too, but it's...Ultimate, y'know?
Charlie was kind of weirded out by her stocking, but once she realized it was full of *stuff*, she dove in.
After presents and naps and such, I lit a fire in the fireplace and we had a marvelous time keeping Charlie from trying to open the fire doors and toss stuff in. *grin*
