Jan. 21st, 2011 04:51 pmIkea Throw Capelet. If we manage to get to Ikea before Sam's birthday, I think I'll try to make her one of these. Not that I can't do it at any time, but I think she'd love to open a box with this in it. :) Though, not so much with the white. She'll only be eleven after all, and *I* have trouble keeping white clean. That could be 'cause I'm kind of a klutz, though...

We were at the market last night and Jeff and I were discussing if I'd gotten enough turnips. I picked out one more, and Sam picked up a tiny one. "AWWW! It's so CYUUUUUTTTEEEE!" "Yes, it is. But I don't really pick veggies by cuteness." "I do! When I am an adult, I will invite you to dinner and all the food will be cute!" "I'm sure the meal will be adorable".
We use two carts, so that Jeff and Sam can go get stuff while Charlie and I go up and down the aisles. It's mainly to stop Sam from being Boooooooooooooored, but it also makes things go faster. Since we've got two, we can use the smaller cart with the little car attached to the front for Charlie. The only problem with this is, when we go down the organic aisle, I'm looking at the Earth's Best baby food and hear "EEEEEELLLLLLLMMMMMMMOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" because the crackers and cookies branded with Sesame Street characters are right at her eye level. But it's okay...I figured we'd get a box of them anyway, and it's good for her to make decisions. Okay, sometimes she doesn't, just agreeing when I ask "Crackers or cookies?" but last night, she decided she wanted the Cookie Monster letter cookies. Which I've got to endorse...I mean, who'd make cookies better than Cookie Monster? *grin*
