Private First Class Rupert Valero is stationed at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Wilson in Khandahar, Afghanistan. A former oil rig engineer, Valero has been a collector and customizer of 6" super-articulated action figures for many years. Since being stationed in Afghanistan he has begun making his own figures entirely from found materials

Lovely long interview with Helen Mirren. I haven't finished it yet, but so far, it's quite good.

Nir Rosen, who I'm pretty sure I hadn't heard of till today, is the kind of asshole who thinks that a colleague's sexual assault should be mocked. Prince of a guy.

While we were at the hotel, Charlie discovered hide and seek. There was what she felt was the perfect hiding place next to the tv stand in the living room. And when I say perfect, I mean that no other spot would do. She *always* hid there and it drove Sam nuts. She tried to get Charlie to hide somewhere else and Charlie would sit wherever Sam told her, then when she realized she was playing "Hideseek", she'd get up and run to her spot. And when Sam got "too good" at finding her, Charlie would argue. "Found you!" "NO! *covers eyes*" It was truly hilarious.
She hasn't tried to play here, which is logical. The hiding spot is back at the hotel! ;)

This sounds like fun. This May, Marvel and Disney Publishing will launch Disney•Pixar Presents, a new monthly magazine featuring characters from Pixar films such as Cars, The Incredibles, and Toy Story.. It might suck, but what the hell. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.
