First listen of Paul Simon's new album via NPR.

Oh, it's pretty.

I feel like I should be writing, writing, writing. But I can't really think of anything to say.

Huh, that looks a lot like the writing exercises I did in middle school. "Mr. Wormley says we should just write and eventually, we'll write something good. I've been writing all period and I've only written this. I'm bored. Booooooooored. I think teachers just say that so that they can get us to shut up and leave them alone. And I'm still bored.".

Luckily, Mr. Wormley (I'm probably getting the spelling of his name horribly wrong) was a very cool guy who didn't read our writing journals unless we requested it. He's always been one of my favorite teachers. Not just because of that. :)

Oh, I also had a great math teacher that year...I cannot remember her name for the life of me. She was so kind. She knew I was struggling, with math and life in general, and took the time to talk to me. She also didn't get mad at me 'cause I was bad at math. I think she was the only math teacher I ever had beyond elementary school who didn't take my math suckiness personally.

Aw dammit. I guess Mr. Wormley was right. I did write something. *grin*

Drive is a sci-fi comic by the author of Sheldon, which is pretty much my favorite currently-produced comic strip. Drive is interesting and funny. It also hasn't been around too long, so starting from the first strip and reading yourself current doesn't take too long.

I'm sticking with Lj and happily mirroring my journal at Dreamwidth (Hi people reading this at Dreamwidth!), with the exception of the picture posts from my phone. But, those are open to the public, so if you *are* reading this exclusivly at Dreamwidth and want to see the goofy pictures I post, hop over to my Lj to see those.
