Batman Live trailer. This looks like fun. Imagine how amazing it would be if they moved. ;)

A hit-and-run accident five years ago left Rob Summers paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors said he would never walk again, but thanks to a new type of therapy, he can now stand on his own.
Summers’ injury disrupted the nerve pathway that normally triggers walking. Researchers implanted an electrical stimulator at the base of the spine that – along with special exercises – allowed his legs to move without input from the brain..

One day, Charlie will no longer refer to waffles as wopples. And I will be sad.

On Friday, we went to K'mart to get pictures of the girls. Charlie did *NOT* like this idea and I thought it was going to be a repeat of her birthday pictures. Hell, I remembered this expression *from* her birthday pictures.
But the photographer is amazing, which is one of the reasons we keep going (five minutes from the house is a good reason too). And eventually, we got some great shots. This is one of my favorites, and this is my very favorite, as it's a perfect representation of Sammy & Charlie.
I also like the indivdual portraits. Look! An honest to ghu *smile*.
Here's the entire gallery.

Interesting. I really thought the number of hooves an equestrian statue had on the ground told how the rider had died.

I <3 Ringo.

Reporting back after using the Burt's Bees Bug Bite Relief for a few days. Oh yes, I am *so* in love with this stuff. I'm going to be picking up a few more tubes, so I can have one in my bag and one upstairs as well as the one at my desk. In mosquito season, I don't want to be too far from their sweet (and fast) relief.
I do use bug repellant, but they still get me from time to time.
