(no subject)

I have confirmation on the birds nest outside my studio. They were landing on the column on the other side of the porch steps, but they were *building the nest* on the column to the left of my door. I'll see about pictures...I don't want to startle them more than I have to with my big, lumbering human ways. :)

Last night, I went out to look at the stars (saw one...cloudgazing isn't as much fun) and saw the two birds sitting on the column without the nest. I can't fathom why. I don't know if there are eggs yet...maybe there are and they were taking a break from the kids. ;-)

OMG but Charlie has been a nightmare handful lately. Getting into *everything*, screaming and yelling how we're all stupid and she hates us and just general unpleasantness. Mixed with her cheerful everyday self. Which, in a way, makes it almost more difficult to deal with, as you never know when she'll erupt.

I don't know if anything I'm doing is helping...I do know that I'm just tired of the whole thing. I know. She's three and doesn't process the way we do yet. I really do know. I know she's not doing this on purpose. Not sure that makes it any easier to deal with though.
