I'm taking a survey. This is one of the questions (with two answers...there are more, but they don't come into this).

When you recommended products or services in the past, people have usually:

Agreed and taken most of your recommendations

Agreed and taken some but not all of your recommendations

Some but not all...hey, isn't that most?

Jeeze.

Nah. It could just as easily be a polite way of saying "Once or twice, my recommendations have been taken but, normally, they ignore me."

Nope. 'Most' means a majority of the time, they take your recommendations.

'Some but not all' means sometimes they take your recommendations, but not a majority of the time.

It's a subtle distinction, but it is a distinction. ;)

That was going to be my response as well. Now if I could get her to agree that "a couple" can mean up to 3 :)

Only in polyamory, dearest. *grin* (Three/possibly more, though.)

*LOL* I'm stuck with the number 2 choice. Or, in the case with my friend Sarah, never...much to her discredit. *lol*

Some?

Well gosh, I don't even follow my own recommendations most of the time, so why should I expect more than that of friends?

It is a subtle distinction, but it makes sense to me as it is written.
