Dear self,

It is going to be nine million degrees with eight hundred percent humidity. No, stew with dumplings would *not* be a good idea for dinner. I don't care *how* good the dumplings sound.

~~~
In other news, the other tooth is out. Yay. :) She put the teeth in the pillow last night, and when she was asleep, Jeff brought down the fairy house while I wrote a note from the Tooth Fairy, thanking her for the teeth. (I don't remember when the notes started...but she loves it *so* much...and usually writes notes back.)
~~~

Oh, she's up now. This is gonna be fun.

~~~
I was right. It was a blast. She was thrilled with the house and note. We had a great talk about what the tooth fairy does with all the teeth (Sam's pretty sure she makes necklaces and things out of them) and now she's laying her reading chair while I try sing her back to sleep, as she woke far too early because of excitement and will be a major grump if she doesn't get a bit more sleep.
~~~

More later. I can walk and chew gum, but typing and singing is tough.

*chuckle* Glad she loved the fairy house! :D

Sounds good if someone else cooks it at their house. :-D

They sound pretty good to me - it's cold and wet here. More like October than early August.

Uses for Teeth

Best story I've heard about the Tooth Fairy and her need for teeth is that she uses them as the stones to build her castle. That's why you have to brush them all the time, She likes the clean white ones the best. They make the prettiest walls.

In our house, the tooth fairy makes a castle out of the teeth. She likes nice shiny white pearly teeth so her castle is extra beautiful. :D

If she wants to know all about the Tooth Fairy, just read her Hogfather. ;)

*snort* I don't think she's quite ready for Hogfather yet. Though, we *have* showed her the animated Wyrd Sisters and she loved it to pieces. I'm trying to track down Soul Music now...Netflix has the first, but not the second. I will never understand them.

Love you.

Being the gardening/composting/makezining/raise-your-own-chickens kinda hippies that we are, OUR toothfairy recycles the teeth she gets. I mean, where do YOU think baby teeth come from? From old babies who don't need them any more. And when old people's teeth fall out and they get dentures, older kids get those teeth.

And you can TOTALLY game that system by taking really care of your good teeth as an adult so they never fall out. You've seen those people with gold teeth? They're the ones the tooth fairy didn't have a regular tooth for when the time came.

Next, we work on supernatural inventory control...

One of Agent Weasel's friends' family have Tooth Gnomes instead of the Tooth Fairy. The Tooth Gnomes take the teeth away and turn them into piano keys.
