Oh thank ghods. The allergy and headache pills are starting to work. I feel almost completely human again.
Samantha has been a jewel today. No, she hasn't been yodeling, she's been speaking quietly without my having to remind her (often) and has been very helpful, especially at those times when I was sure my head would fall right off.
She can make peanut butter & jelly sandwiches now. She offered to make me one, but I'm sticking with my goldfish crackers for now. 'Cause they're sticking with me, and as sticky as peanut butter is, I'm afraid it would abandon me in this, my time of need.;)

It's lovely that Sammy has been so good for (to) you. :) When you're feeling better, try to do something exta special with her. She is, for all her quirkiness, a sweetheart. :)
