Sammy's doing far better today. She was able to eat and play without coughing up a lung. I'm still giving her the cough medicine (jenny_junipurr, she loves taking it from the Star Wars spoons. :) and she's still coughing, but she's got her energy back and goes long stretches between coughs. I'm doin' a little happy dance. :)

Nothing else has really happened since H'ween. Sick babies (no matter their age) take up pretty much everything.

If any of you know where I can get simple illustrations of animals (online would be cool, 'cause I want to use them as patterns, but I've a scanner so a book would work too), I'd be in your debt. I can find illustrations everywhere, but it's difficult to find just basic outlines.

Oh, I started a journal on vox, for kicks. (No, I've no idea what I'll do with it in the long run.) I could use myschyf there. (No, I'm not still bitter about not being able to use it here. Why do you ask? ;)

The best place to find those would be coloring books, I think. I know that's where I've seen 'em the most. :)

You've already got the two best sources. Coloring books and google on clipart. Some artists have their coloring books online (one of my favorites is Jan Brett and her hedgehogs at www.janbrett.com)

I third the coloring books idea. Check out some of the "grown-up" ones they carry at bookstores. Also, Dover clip-art books are super. I've got some with flowers and borders and celtic knotwork and designs that I use for embroidery. They have zoo animals and all sorts of other ones, too.
