My parents flight leaves tomorrow, but we said goodnight after dinner tonight, to make things a bit easier and so they wouldn't have to be clock watchers.

I am neither shiny nor happy. I will, of course, be okay. And I have plans regarding that. But, right now I'm just sad and I think I'm going to let myself be sad for a day or so.

I'm glad they came though. I wouldn't have missed this for the world.

Sad is okay sometimes, just don't let it take too strong a hold over you. I know you will miss them, but you will get to see them again. Remember you are loved here as well.
