Dear Lane Bryant Catalog Woman Within,

If you have to mention (twice!) that the chest stripe on the tunic is flattering, I'm probably not going to go all mesmerized and think "Hey, look at that stripe across her chest. How flattering is that?!"...what I probably will do is wonder why you're pushing the flattering thing so hard. And think "Weird stripe. It isn't a bad stripe...just weird".

Also, I still think Woman Within is a dumb name. Unless you're selling pink spleen cozies or something.

I had more to say, but my child decided that being a snotty little brat was more important that anything else on this planet, there has been simply oodles of drama at and the moment, she's not allowed to do anything but sit in a chair, breathe and think.

Oh no, why not? I am loosing my spleen to lupus. It is still there, but in name only. How or why was yours removed?

Ah, I remember. Had it removed because it was about to explode and take me with it. Largest spleen ever removed from a living human at Stanford. Biopsy of the Spleen That Ate Palo Alto revealed that I had Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

That's when life got really fun.
